Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) is offered at the clinic. It works by delivering shockwaves local to the injury to promote a healing response.
It is commonly used to treat tendon/soft tissue injuries such as achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis and greater trochanteric pain syndrome (hip pain) to name but a few. It can often help when other treatments have failed.
